“I paint figurative objects to tell stories and demonstrate personal narratives. My work is very much autobiographical, through the reoccurring image of inanimate objects and fragments in my environment. From the inception, I was more interested in glorifying everyday objects and elevating their importance on the picture plane.

 

   My current work focuses on visions of interior spaces in my future home. “Manifestations of Home” depicts these spaces using symbolism to represent intimate ideas and individuals in my life. This symbolism is often rendered in peculiar compositions, allowing room for oddities and contradiction. The aim of this series is to look forward, envisioning a brighter future and creating my ideal refuge.”
